Had lunch here today with family. It was a full house. I mean, real full house. We waited in line to get seated which I felt was cool although some may complain about that. If so many families are at the same place at the same time, that's a good statement! Food was good Service was awesome. Seeing so many families bonding made the atmosphere sweet! We had Ernesto cater for our table and he was funny, interesting and took good care of us. Good job GC!🥳🥳🥳

I wasn't expecting a lot, which is the only reason I give 3 stars. The salad bar was okay, but the hot bar... The steak (cooked "to order") was tenderized to within an inch of its life. The steak sauce improved it slightly. The "cheddar garlic biscuits" were more like crackers, rock hard. The pizza was thin but the bottom was soggy, and the sauce was sugary - disgusting. I'll give the steak fries a buffet 4/5, if only because they were edible. 2/5 if you home cooked them, of course - they were soft, without a hint of firmness, much less crunch. The people were nice, at least.

We always come to Golden Corral whenever we're craving an American buffet. It's affordable, the food is consistently good, and the steak is one of our favorite things on the menu. There are plenty of options to choose from, including a great salad bar and lots of desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. We've visited many Golden Corral locations over the years and have been to this one countless times. It's always a reliable spot when we want a filling meal with lots of variety.

I ate here before 12pm. Ended up with diarrhea when I got home. Could it be the Pot Roast i ate? The Pot Roast was hard when I bit into it, & I just kept chewing on that one piece of pot Roast till I finally got it apart to swallow it. It should not be that hard to bite into... Pot Roast supposed to be soft & tender if it's cooked at the right temperature. And the wait staff? I don't know how to grade her. She seemed very nice, but I was on my 3rd & final plate before I've gotten my first refill. My glass was empty before I even finished my second plate. She passed my table a couple of times when my glass was empty till I was almost finishing up on my 3rd plate.. She then approached me & asked me, how's everything, then she left on stopped at the next table from me & then she asked me if I wanted a refill while her back was turned away from me. I could barely hear asked if I wanted a refill since she had her back towards me from the other table in front of me... but my main concern was the Pot Roast I ate. I can't tell if the meat caused me to have diarrhea when I got home, but all I know is Pot Roast was the only food I'm not happy with. All the other foods I've eaten here wa

A newer location that has a better selection than the Palatine location. It's impressive in it selection and variety and the visit was absolutely worthwhile... especially for my Mom who needs significant dental work (pending) and can only handle softer foods right now. Loved that all the flatware was in individual little paper envelopes for hygienic purposes.
